There are lots of reports of red frogs, it's something I didn't use to see at all back in the '70s when I first started to take an  interest. I've heard a number of explanations, not sure I'm convinced by any I've heard yet. Along with various shades of red I've also seen an increasing number of almost entirely black common frogs over the past 10 years.

Mmmm, my daughter said that she saw frogs climbing out of the road drain system again, where newts were coming from last year. I wonder if the difference in colour shades is something to do with hibernation being in these sort of places, I mean you must get watered down bleach, washing powder colours, evrything going down there!

Thanks Keith,

finally caught up with these digital guys!!!

And it saves the endless jaunts down to the chemists to get the film developed..... and waiting for the hour to find you forgot to adjust the shutter speed.

I'm now officially in the 21st century haha
